Reviews
Stayed overnight at Cabana Jr 1 on a weekday (Wed-Thurs).
Pros: Affordable. No corkage fee on food. Fun pool slides (which are rusted already btw), easy access to the beach. Beautiful sunset. Fine dark sand. Cool chill-out spot at night at their beach bar with the instagrammable lights and bean bags. The place itself is easy to find and very accessible.
Cons: The terrible smell of cat poop outside and near the open cottages and even inside our room. Old furniture, old fridge and bathroom. The lights in our room were so dim and only one was functioning. Not enough place to hang your towels in your room. Lack of chairs - we were 5 adults and 1 kid but only 3 plastic chairs were provided. And because it's affordable and it's summer, there are a lot of guests even on a weekday! Crowded pool and also could be cleaner, crowded beach. Lot of karaokes.
It was still a great experience because we had fun, especially the kid. :) I won't say we got what we paid for tho, because the room was 4k and we still had to pay for entrance fees plus fees for electric kettle and rice cooker. Also no free breakfast. We didn't had time to try the resto so I can't comment on the food.
Accommodating and hospitable... Affordable for family outings.... With free parking, not so much about the WIFI but the experience is good.....
Value for money.
We stayed at the largest bungalow since it had more amenities, living room, dining table, kitchen and ref.
Two large rooms (1 on the ground floor and another on the 2nd floor - which had a view of the sea.
Black sand beach, clean and clear water, no sign of trash along the shore.
Do not expect fine sand though.
Expect ambulant vendors selling clams, kakanin and handmade bracelets, and several boatmen enticing you for a boat ride and island hopping (not sure how many and to which islands). Tourist trap did come to mind. But at least they don't pester you if you politely turn them down.
And oh, no swimming past 12 midnight.
Overall, clean place and courteous staff.
Good for family outing. Affordable prices and cosy rooms. The only thing that I did not like is the tiles outside the pool area are slippery especially when it's wet. Please put a sign or change your tiles into outdoor tiles to avoid accidents.
Beach is just few steps away. 24/7 store access. pool with slides.
Enjoyed our stay! Place is good for family outings 👍 …
The hotel price was expensive. I have to pay 70$ for a 2 bed room, the bedroom has sands, molding walls and small empty room. Although the hotel sucks for me, the pool and beach was great it has different types of slides and I stayed in this hotel for 2 days. I don't hate this resort but please improve the hotel.
In times of Pandemic and difficulty, this place is the best to stay. New normal and just really had fun.
The place was comfortable and cozy enough for its very affordable price. There's a restaurant inside the resort so you won't have issues with going hungry. There are 2 pools and you also have the option to go to the beach. 2 thumbs up for me!
nice and relaxing place to vacation or swimming time..
